Lovers of whiskey are in luck, because Dallas and the entire metroplex has many great whiskey bar options.

We compiled a list of great whiskey bars in Dallas based on Google reviews and online sites.

1. Whiskeys

With a 4.7 rating on Google, this is a solid choice if you are looking for a great whiskey bar. Guests of Whiskeys applaud the atmosphere. A Google reviewer called it a “bourbon lover’s paradise.”

• Tip: Whiskey’s has a dress code. According to the website, athletic gear and flip flops are not allowed, and baseball hats must be worn traditionally.

2. Whiskey Hatchet

According to the website “throw axes. Drink whiskey’’ is the “simple motto” of Whiskey Hatchet. At this bar, guests can learn how to axe throw from an “axepert” while enjoying a drink. Google Reviewers call it an “amazing experience.”

3. The Standard Pour

The Standard Pour is known for their wide whiskey selection. According to their website, they have been recognized by the Bourbon Review for being “one of the top places for Bourbon in America.” Along with Whiskey they have a selection of cocktails, beer and wine.

4. State & Allen

According to their website they are “the best restaurant in uptown that’s also a hip whiskey bar too.” Not only does State & Allen have a wide selection of whiskey, but they also have a $6 whiskey list always offered. Stop by for lunch or dinner, or brunch served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

5. Armoury D.E.

This Deep Ellum spot has an "insane selection of whiskey" according to a Google reviewer. They have an extensive menu of cocktails and food, and also have free live music, so you can enjoy a drink while watching a show.
